Thoughtfully preserved to honor its original character, this is where locals gathered after long days, where fishermen who helped shape Ellison Bay shared stories, and where travelers found unexpected moments of connection. Today, that tradition continues with locally sourced fish from Henriksen Fisheries featured on our menu, honoring the history within these walls while carrying it forward into a new era. Surrounded by original wood paneling and soft amber lighting, with a double-sided stone fireplace at its heart, the lounge feels like a chapter drawn from Door County’s golden ages. Every detail invites guests to settle in, slow down, and savor the simple pleasures of good company, meaningful conversation, and beautifully prepared food and drinks.
