GETTING HERE IS SIMPLE
Getting to The Ellison Inn is a breeze. Ellison Bay is just 37 miles north of Sturgeon Bay and may be reached by highway 42 from Manitowoc, and Highway 57 from Green Bay. The drive to Ellison Bay is one of the prettiest in the state. Wind along the shoreline by staying on highway 42 after Sturgeon Bay. Pass by the apple and cherry orchards as you approach Ellison Bay from the top of the hill where the view is breathtaking. You will find us on the right of the hill across from the Ellison Bay beach as you descend down the hill into town. With self check-in services you have you time restraints allowing you to sit back, relax, and get ready to embark on a memorable stay.

Designated Dark sky
Newport's wilderness experience offers over 2,300 acres of forest on 11 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, 30 miles of hiking trails, and backpack camping as a quiet alternative to bustling Door County. At the far end of the Door Peninsula, Newport is also designated as a Dark Sky Park, a perfect destination for stargazing.
