Whitepine will be offering a Nordic-inspired menu highlighting seasonal ingredients, clean flavors, and refined techniques, where rustic simplicity meets an elevated dining experience. Drawing from the traditions of Northern Europe, the menu celebrates local ingredients at their peak, featuring fresh fish, house-cured and slow-prepared meats, roasted root vegetables, and bright, herb-forward flavors, with each dish crafted to feel both comforting and refined.

 

Lounge History:

Thoughtfully preserved to honor its original character, this is where locals gathered after long days, where fishermen who helped shape Ellison Bay shared stories, and where travelers found unexpected moments of connection. Today, that tradition continues with locally sourced whitefish paying tribute to the history within these walls while bringing it forward in a new era.  Surrounded by original wood paneling and soft amber lighting, with a double-sided stone fireplace at its heart, the lounge feels like a chapter drawn from Door County’s golden ages. Every detail invites guests to settle in, slow down, and savor the simple pleasures of good company, meaningful conversation, and beautifully prepared food and drinks.
